Payment Terms

  • Payment can be taken over the phone using a Debit Card (Solo or Switch) or Credit Card (Master or Visa).  Please ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions of Sale and Return Goods Policy before placing an order.
  • Initially, cheque with order; once credit facilities have been established, terms are net thirty (30) days from invoice date.  A service charge of 1.5% per month, equal to 18% annually, will be placed on balances due beyond these terms.

Ordering and Delivery Information

Only orders placed within the United Kingdom and to be delivered to a United Kingdom address will be processed.

We provide our customers with the most cost-effective delivery methods available to suit individual needs. All products are shipped ex works and the normal lead time is 48 hours. Next day delivery is available on request.

Warranties and Service

Point of Care Services warrants that each instrument purchased will be in good working order on receipt.

L·D·X®

The L·D·X® analyser has a one year warranty from date of purchase. Extended warranties are available.
If an L·D·X® requires repair a customer will have two options:

  • Option 1: If covered by warranty there will be no charge for repair or replacement.

    This service does not include:

    • Repair or replacement made necessary due to the use of the equipment for other than the ordinary use for which it was designed.
    • Repair or replacement made necessary due to accident, disaster (which includes but is not limited to: fire, flood, water, wind and lightening), transportation, neglect or misuse, or alterations (which include, but are not limited to any deviation from Cholestech's physical, mechanical or electrical instrument design specifications).
  • Option 2: A customer may have the L·D·X® repaired and charges will be made for parts and labour.  Each L·D·X® instrument will be thoroughly tested, evaluated and refurbished with the latest materials/ROM pack, new battery, etc.  The repaired / refurbished L·D·X® will have a 1 year warranty.

Return Goods Policy

To ensure quality and to guarantee our product claims, we cannot resell or transfer reagents after they have left our premises, therefore, Point of Care Services Ltd has a "no returns" policy on these products.
